i disagree, i think overall ranger green is best or compromise with od. its easiest to find gear in od and it looks great with mc, and blends even better when you add more od gear (drop leg ect) i use to run a ct vest myself though they both work well, but as edy said, your surroundings should wiegh in on what color you go with (tan or od)
