nope, you'll need a rubber disc on the recoil rod for that....
Stronger hammer spring also strike the gas valve to full open position much faster which means more force that shoots the bb out(imagine like opening a twist off cap on a plastic pop bottle, you twist slowly, the gas hisses slowout out and lead to a lesser gas release when you open. Whereas if you just quickly twist it off it's much stronger release.)
FYI, on my Hi-Capa I am using the Nine-Ball hammer spring plus a bb to compress the spring even more for even higher rate....
