AK Metal Front end + Sanyo 9.6V 1500 mAH Ni-Cad Stick Battery Modifications:
A: install the front end as you would normally on the AEG. I did not need to modify this part.
B: Because I used a TM plastic body I needed to file down both "B" points down to be flush with the "A" piece.
This permitted the battery to fit. It fits extremely tightly.
Its a permanent install, I will not be able to swap out the pack during a game. I needed to reassemble the body and front end with the battery already inserted.
C: The battery tray has been removed and the cocking leaver in installed with the original rod and spring to keep that feature functional. See photos for reference.
Here is my reference point. The SRC AK-ADV.
