What I find hilarious are the people who take the simulation sport too seriously.
Your whole "Purist" thing is a pretty bullshit argument. It's rather hypocritical considering having something 100% railed out is for NO OTHER REASON THAN FOR VISUAL LOOKS. An airsoft gun is not something you rely on for survival.
As for the "You'd rather look cool than play well" comment... Funny. I've played for 2 years, and been on the winning team in a competitive league, as well as coming out with the least deaths of the entire league season... What was my 1337 set up? An ancient M16 Vietnam with Iron Sights.
I'm reminded of a previous comment that I've read from you that was referring to an accessory made for an airsoft gun, it went something along the lines of "It was made by a real operator so it must have a purpose." Yea. It must. The purpose it so suck in HIGH SPEED OPERATORS like yourself that are willing to fork over a couple hundred dollars for a mass produced product with some one's name slapped on it.
No hard feelings, but I think you need to play a little more airsoft and spend less time stroking your PTW in preparation for the zombie take over.

Hey, sorry if looking, and "moving" authentically doesn't stroke your boat. But I personally think that hose fests are fucking lame. And quite frankly, the whole "I've been on the winning...blahblahblah.." doesn't mean shite to me.
Can I ask you a serious question, 1337 7yp1n9 4510E ? Where the fuck do you see any rails on ANY of my guns? lol. I run a PTW with an EOTech (getting a rail for a torch, and vert grip... ) and an AK74! lol.
Also, the reason why I'd get parts from a well known company is for 3 reasons. (Try to follow along)
1) Reliability.
2) Know-how.
3) Customer Service.
Not because their marketing ploy was indeed a good one, or because they had sexy half naked chicks flashing their (the company's) products in their ads (which kinda falls into the last category, but it's very noteworthy). It's simply because it WORKS. Much like why you bought a TM clone, and have a raging illogical hard-on for AKs. The Design WORKS.... therefore, you'll buy it, use it.
And, believe it or not, I bought the PTW simply because of reliability, and the fact that it's 1:1 with the RS. Kind of a selling point considering my next move, n' all.
Anyway, moving on .... The Zombpocalypse is infact coming, and I'd like to be ready for it. I guess you're okay. You can hide behind Bob The Angry Potato's Meat ....
