One of the great things about WWII weapons is most of the ones that saw wide spread usage were ones that were designed to be made easily, with a minimum of tooling. Anyone with a small shop and a bit of knowledge should be able to make a decent copy of one if they can get the proper measured drawings and stuff. Mags would likely be a pain however.
That said, if anyone comes across detailed scale drawings of exteriors for the different models of .30 cal, Bren, FG42, or Sten, let me know. (I'm not liking reverse engineering a .30 cal from photos and incomplete drawings.)
