My current project

Well I thought I would resurrect this thread
since the gun and mags finally ended up in
my hands, and I thought some might like to
know what was causing the problem.

Over the past day I've swapped out the metal
upgrades for stock plastic WA parts one by one
eventually getting the gun back to a stock state.
Usually metal upgrades need filing to work
properly, but not in this case.. I hope lol.

Now that the gun is all abs again, it's obvious
what's causing the issue— the nozzle. It's way
too loose in the breech. There's is roughly 2mm
of play upwards, which is leading to the nozzle
riding up on bbs and jamming it's self above the
loading ramp, and slightly deforming the loading
rubber, and letting the rear almost completely
leave the blow chamber. Ramming the slide
forward forces the nozzle's rear and o-ring to
scrape back into the breech/chamber, since they
are on an angle upward when stuck. The better
way is to release the mag, since it's holding up
the nozzle with follower or bb. The nozzle return
spring is also worn, weak and stretched a bit,
also contributing a bit to the issue.

Now I've gotta get a new nozzle or 2 to try out.
I don't know where the nozzle came from, or if
it's the original stock one for this gun but I'm
hoping a new SD complete nozzle with CP steel
return spring, and a new loading rubber, will fix
the jams once and for all. I'll update after the
new parts are installed.

Madmax, the WA's with springs on the inner barrel
to aid in returning the ejection port chamber to
battery are the SCW Hicap LE's and Experts. Not
much gained by them in my opinion.
