I had the same problem with my G&G CQB-H when I got it... I wanted to remove the birdcage off the rifle to remove the orange tip properly. What I did was take an open box wrench that fit the flats of the birdcage...and just smacked the wrench clockwise several times. the shock loosened the locktite they used. Birdcage was removed with no problems...
