1911 and MEU magazine can be inter change only the M.E.U. magazine has a built in magazine basepad. I believe the rear Novak rear sight can be fitted to the 1911 and the rest of the internal parts like outer barrel, spring guide, recoil spring and others are the same with the 1911.
I see. Curses... I wish I could get a hold of one to compare it to my stock Marui 1911. The cosmetic differences are definitely appealing, but the enhanced performance of the new blowback unit is going to make me restless.

RacingManiac uses the MEU magazines with his custom Marui 1911 and now I am considering doing the same.

It would be absolutely excellent if the Novak rear sight could be fitted to the 1911 because I would prefer it to the standard combat sights.
