Hey,
Hopefully my CA SLR105A1 will be in transit soon (bought from Greg with a leg) and im thinking about my battery/charger/discharger options. I hear that getting a discharger is a good step towards looking after your battery and increasing its lifetime. Whats the word about that? Does that make a significant diffference?

A good charger, I've heard, is a crucial part of a kit. Is there any model that I should be looking for? Right now, the CA SLR105A1 comes with an 8.4v 1800 NiCad battery. I'm thinking in the near future (next 3-4 months) I will invest in a more powerful battery. I'm trying to find a good charger, with this in mind, to charge these bad boys. Also, what are the pros/cons of a good charger, as opposed to a basic wall charger?

Last, but not least, I'm trying to plan ahead as to which battery I would theoretically upgrade to. Any suggestions as to which type/strength of battery I should be looking for?
