Personally, I would opt for something lighter / more breathable.
Everyone already has "genuine" BDU's of some kind, or you can get the battle shirts with the wicking torsos / BDU sleeves (Crye or replica, CP gear, etc.), so my opinion is : why have Ripready make something you can already buy?
I would probably wear my regular BDU top in cooler weather, and wear a jersey like this for hotter days.
