Here is a unique idea. in paintball they made Carbon Fiber barrels because the barrel wouldn't be affected by temperature changes. think of trying something like that out for airsoft.

Carbon fiber is cost prohibitive for the barrel, though I'm going to work on a carbon fiber stock for the L96. Shouldn't be too hard to split the current stock and make a mold for vacuum forming.
