Personally... I don't think gas consumption is that important... As long as it can fire a whole mag of BB's on a charge of gas that's good enough for me (I mean it's not like propane is expensive lol)
I've handled both, the KJW ones are solid as hell... but the TM ones are extremely reliable and there's more aftermarket for them.
For some one like myself who constantly tunes everything to the very best it can get, TM would be the way to go..
For some one looking for a good side-arm for those "Just in case" moments, KJW would be an excellent choice.
Something you may want to look into is the KSC 226... They're ABS like the TM's... but they feel MUCH more solid to me.
