So I've got a pair of ESS NVG Profiles with OD "Speed sleeve" and I like the gear a whole lot but the damn sleeve is driving me nuts. Does anybody know if there's a trick to getting it slide smoothly (and maybe even speedily) over the goggles? Instead they continually get caught up on the rubber lips of the goggles and I feel like I'm going to rip the goggles apart while I fiddle with the elastic and getting it unhooked and slid around everything.
Not to mention that it seems like an incredibly difficult process to actual manage while the goggles are secured to the helmet and you're wearing gloves...
Maybe I'm just encountering a very personal form of retardation but I can't figure it out (there's also the fact that I managed to spill some bleach on the sleeve and turn it slightly pink but that's another thing entirely)
