Yes, I agree. That plate is the issue - could have been easily solved with more material on the flap.
I have both Maxpedition Khaki and Pantac CB products here... there is a shade difference, but the difference is very minimal: the Maxpedition Khaki is slightly more subdued, whereas Pantac has a bit more colour saturation to it and tends to lean more to the greener/yellow side.
You know what's really hot? The Maxpedition Foliage Green colour...
