I also think that it's the new battery because I took off the plastic heatshrink tubing that was on it originally and just wraped electrical tape around it. I'm charging another battery that I have right now so I'll post up again and let you guys know if that works.

EDIT: I just decided to try the new battery on my other TM SIG SG 552 which hasn't been modified in any way insternally and nothing happens when I pull the trigger. So I am assuming that it's the battery and not my motor or a electrical issue. I'll keep you guys posted once I finish charging my other battery and try it on my modified TM SIG SG 552 which I was originally having issues with.
