The saftey block fits on the white tube, then a screw goes in to hold it down.

In all the work I've dozen on all types of airsoft guns, the only time I've ever seen a pin like that is in Armalites. No other purpose for it, and sure as hell doesn't go into any MP5 I know that is out there.
