Hey guys.
Posting for one of my buddies here.
He recently tried to open up his gearbox (Classic army m15a4. Version 2 gearbox) and did so incorrectly (He didnt stick a screwdriver into the spring guide to keep the thing from launching out) and his box exploded
Luckily, from what i've seen (I've taken it apart and reassembled it to the best of my abilities) All the parts/shims and everything is still in place. However. The positive wire connecting to the motor has been pinched and exposed.
The issues ive been having is when i have the thing hooked up, the gearbox only pulls the spring/piston back (Wires and stuff get very hot, fast) but doesnt let it snap forward to fire. As if there isnt enough power to do so. Is this from the exposed/pinched wire? or Have i done something wrong internally?
Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks
