Which is why you're best bet is to invest in a smaller most probably brighter flash light that you can put into a pistol pouch
. Takes up less real-estate, weights less, and easier to hold with weapon ((pistol)) if needed. Also lots with LED functions, that give you good night vision ((red)) for map reading with out being a GIANT beacon to everyone around.
