you need to be carefull with the 11.1v packs. unlike the 7.4v ones these wont stop pulling the motor once they hit min voltage. this means its easy to over discharge the 11.1v packs.
i run FireFox 11.1 20c stick lipo on my buffer tube(after quite a modafication), and i have it connected to a Extreme-Fire(Cheetah) fire controll unit, and a Project-WolfDragon Lipo PCB for low voltage detection.
basicly the Lipo PCB will send a signal to the FCU and tell it that the battery is at it's min charge and shuts off the gun. i have already killed one of my batteries for not using the lipo PCB with my FCU.
