It's not an issue of provincial bylaws. Firearms and weapons are under federal jurisdiction.

Orange tip has no legal significance in Canada.

Painting receiver from transparent to opaque can be interpreted as turning an imitation firearm into a replica firearm, and as such violates the Special Authority to Possess Regulations, leading to a possible Criminal Code violation.

There is no legal significance to painting magazines.

There is no firearm/weapon legal significance on trademarks.

There is no legal significance on dummy rounds, though CBSA believes otherwise.
