Yes this will be a very fun event. I hope it gets a huge number of people out for it. This will be very memorable, no matter how many show up though.
Hopefully the weather will be kind. It can still throw some crappy weather at you at that time of year. Normal lows, that time of year at night -3c to +4c. Highs +5c to 25c in the daytime. And there won't be leaves on trees. So bring appropriate clothing and gear for anything from -20c to +25c. Snow or rain.
