Please tell me why not. Go look up some race pistols and you'll see Aimpoints mounted all the time.

For CAPS we have guys running Cmores and Aimpoints, with one using a doctor sight. I think it just comes down to personal preference on which one you like more. I've tried playing around with both on my pistol, the Cmore is definetly lighter compared to the Aimpoint but I don't think the weight is that much different for the draw. The issues I see for weight will more likely come from shooting one handed, either strong or weak making it tougher for you to keep a steady hand while shooting. The pro's of it is that the heavier weight of the gun will compensate for the recoil of the blowback, making you stay on target easier.
For me its faster to find my dot with an aimpoint when a match starts, so that's what I'll be using.
