I'm sure someone has some kind of experience doing this, was hoping to get some first hand help on making my own custom ghillie hat

I was thinking of purchasing one, but I've heard of people making ghillie hats for practically under $20. That, and I'd like to customize the color scheme to properly blend with the surroundings I most commonly play through.

Also, I'd like to make a ghillie cover for my gun, since the playstyle I plan to pursue requires me to blend as much as a physically can without completely inhibiting my ability to move as necessary.
