How durable is the Tanaka Kar98k?

I posted this in the WWII forum, but i was also wondering people's opinion who own this gun who do not play WWII re-enactment. Thus, i also posted it here.

Hey guys,

As i am sure many of you have heard, the Tanaka Company in Japan as been permanently shut down due to the fact that they broke the law with their recent revolver line (it was discovered that it is able to fire a real bullet). That being said, i am worried about gaming my $900 Tanaka Kar98k for fear of breaking something; with the company gone, i have no parts to replace it with. So, that brings me to my question: How durable is the Tanaka Kar98k? For all of you WWII German guys, how long have you gamed your rifle and has anything broken? Are you worried about anything breaking? If something did break, how did you fix it?

i will be using propane exclusively with my gun.

Thanks to all who post,
