TM p90 TR

UHG! I took to long typing this the first time and got logged out, well here I go again.

First off HI! to everyone in airsoft, me and my GF are just getting into the sport and are inlove with it already, I come from a tourny paintball background so there is alot of new concepts here for me.

Ok where do I start, I got my GF a TM p90 to play with. The gun seemed to shoot really well when we bought it *used*. He said it came with some upgrades. The upgrade list that I can remember were, Systema reinforced gearbox, 170% spring, m4 barrel *into silencer*, 10.8volt battery.

All sounds pretty good right? But something is not sitting well with me. First off the gun shoots at a lower RPM than my Bone stock TM ak47 does. Now with the higher voltage logic says it should shoot faster... yet it might be around 600rpm, thats even lower than stock I beleive.

Second I took the gun to my paintball buddies to have it cronoed. I was warned that the 170 spring would be hot and might have to be swapped out to a m120 spring. So I tried a pop can first, it went through both sides with a .20g BB but not the bottom *almost but not quite*. At the paintball store with a .25g I was getting readings of 260-270fps. the .20g's were lower?! at 240fps. Now this does not sound right as the 170 spring should be over 400 easily.... again... confusing yes?

So my question is why would this be happening? I hope to hell I was not lied to by a fellow AKer but I know it happens. Is there any way to open it up and tell if the parts that he said were in there actually are in there? I pulled the mech box out and its a bit beyond me... no regulator like paintball lol. Can someone guide my hand so to speak on where to look and what to try?

The gun shoots well sounds a way different than my ak47... more of a thud thud thud. Just seems like its a Supra with a blown turbo.

PS paintball ain't got shit on airsoft
