If I were you I'd stick to all one brand of parts.. that way you know everthing will mesh properly.
Modify makes some damn good pistons, piston heads, and cylinder heads (Theirs are 1 CNC'd piece instead of 2 pieces like guarder's)
... Modify also makes awesome springs..
Aaand I don't see why deans should be a stage 2 upgrade... it's only like.. 2.50 per side of deans connectors and they're super quick to install.
As for barrel... I'd go with Prometheus or Madbull... I haven't had very good luck with G&G things..
