What I do after every single game:
-Disassemble(Mind you I have an AK, it only takes like 30 seconds to get to the barrel and hop up unit)
-Take out hop up unit and barrel assembly
-disassemble the entire hop up unit and take out the barrel + hop up rubber(Again, this is an AK, takes only like another 30 seconds lol)
- Wash the hop up rubber with hot water and kitchen detergent(I do this everytime because I'm really obsessive about accuracy)
- Clean the barrel with eyeglasses patches.
-Reassemble
that's about all i do. You don't have to lube the gearbox everytime. And don't put any lube inside your hop up. It will screw with your gun's consistency.
