KSC Compatibility

I've got a pair of KSC GBBs; a P226R and a 1911A1. Both are metal frame and slide versions, but they also both have plastic outer barrels. Looking around a bit, I haven't found any KSC metal outer barrels. So... I'm wondering what brands (if any) are compatible with KSC without a lot of modification. My preference is for silver/stainless look metal, since I like the look of a shiny chamber/barrel under a black slide.

KSC / KWA are their own design and aren't compatible with any other brand.

look at the KWAusa website... they ahve a part service, and they also sell a metal outter for the 1911....

Personally, I wanted to buy a ksc 1911, and get the MEU type trigger hamemr and safety levers from the KWA 1911 MEU....

Even KSC has their own proprietary internal parts. Made in Taiwan and made in Japan. Your KSC can basically only get KSC or KWA parts.

Parts do exist for em. Shooters Design makes a few. KSC also makes their own brand metal outter barrels, but they are often sold with their metal slides as a package.

Reason for KSC to use plastic barrel and metal slide is to reduce friction and increase cycling.

Ah; a "method" to their "madness". I guess I'll leave it alone then. I'd rather have reliable than shiny.

They do. KSC makes Metal Slide + Barrel Kits for all their guns.
