Whether you are into 'tacticool' AKs or own a replica of the Israeli Galil this is a nice little add-on you might want to consider.
I picked up this relatively cheap ($14.99) extended magazine release for my AK recently because I didn't want to have to disassemble my AK's trigger guard unit - which is what you normally have to do if you want to attach the tactical mag releases made by King Arms and Element.
The EMA extended mag release lever is really easy to fit - it just slides over the existing AK release lever and then you just tighten a small screw to fix it in place. Job done!
It also allows you two ways of releasing your AK mag. First of all it extends the release lever down, making it longer and easier to use, but also it adds the ability to release the mag just using your trigger finger by pushing forward on the new release button (it's also ambidextrous).
