Guarder steel vertical grip stem for AUG

Just taking a quick look at my foregrip and I cannot figure out how this would replace the other aluminum stem without having to totaly bash the plastic shell to pieces. Any help here?

when i pulled mine apart the only way I could get it apart was to cut the foregrip on the seems, hope that helps

hot water and the foregrip comes apart. glue back together

i wonder if that hot water trick will work for a p90 if i wanted to install an integrated laser.
