Flecktarn VDV jacket
I know this is a stupid question, but would a Bundeswehr Flecktarn Jacket pass off as one of the newer VDV paratrooper combat jackets?

Sure it will. But how much are you actually saving in process?
I would personally stay away from any duplicated camo that is currently in service by any other country. It just does not feels right.

That's not something that is worn in former Soviet state or sattelite state..
