Need help with moving barrel
Hi. I'm having problems with my G36. It seems that a piece broke off inside the gun. I believe this piece keeps the barrel from getting to close to the gearbox. So now, when the spring that pushes the barrel/hop-up against the gearbox is in place, the hop-up is too close to the gearbox, which then stops the feeding(no room for the bbs to enter). I removed the spring. Is there a way to make the barrel stay in its correct position without being permanent? Anything would help.
Thanks. It is an Echo1. Here is a video, might not help, but wtv. Movie_0001.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting |

It SHOULD be pressed against the mechbox.

Yeah, I know. But it's pressed too close(can't explain why/how).All I know is the bbs won't feed. I slid square tooth picks between the mechbox and hop-up(gives that extra hair needed for fitting bbs), seems to do the trick, but I'd have to find a way to have a reliable fix.

Did you film that clip in the dark or something?
Taking a good picture of the broken off piece will help us figure out your problem. It's hard to understand why the hopup could be "pressed too close".

Is the tab and spring in place inside the hopup? right at the entrance?

I'd take a picture, but my dc is broken. Give me

Would gluing a piece to the hop-up help? Like the tooth pick, but fixed in place.

Quick question: would replacing the hop-up with a new one do the trick?

No.
But that nozzle looks damaged quite a bit. Maybe you had a bad feeding before and the nozzle was squished. I would go for a new nozzle first. Prometheus' are good. |
