M4 Barrel extension?
Hey all,
I have a M4 with the short CQB style barrel like the first pic, but would like a longer barrel like the second pic. Do I have to switch out the entire barrel, or is there an adaptor? I have seen screw on extensions for M4's on Ebaybanned and the like and was wondering if those look any good? Thx, J |

Depends CW or CCW, then you might need an adaptor for it.
i recommend to have one piece outer barrel because barrel extension is easy to install, but it does not have same strength as one piece barrel does. it wobbles a lot. Check old TM M4 series (M4 RIS or older models) Last edited by sopmod; March 20th, 2009 at 04:12.. |

Thundercustom (Local winnipeg machinist) makes excellent barrel extentions. They're about 5.5" long and match the OD of an M4 length barrel perfectly!
100% Canadian product too

Sorry for the ignorance, but what exactly does CW/CCW stand for? In case its not obvious, Im new to the world of Airsoft ; )

Simply because I believe a one piece would be more reliable than a two piece. An extension would be alright if you are not comfortable with the requied partial dissasembly of your AEG.
