BUT, ya, his running the shotgun at those games was ballsy, especially seeing him shooting at people well outside his effective range. Luckily I've learned what the range and spread is (as well as the roounds go where I aim), and what weight BBs I can get away with. Maybe I'll load a couple shells with my 0.36g for 'special' use. |

Yeah, thanks for the tests.
I found that out quickly ... I run mine on 0.25. The TM M3`s are fixed hop-up at 0.25g`s. So i figured it was the same deal with the Crosman.

Was my assumption as well. I'd only run 0.25g indoors, outdoors I'll use only 0.28g or heavier.

That is a strange finding, lots of distance on the field here and at $120 those .30 are going to be affordable

Even better, had a chance to launch some 0.28g BBs out of mine the other day, range was much farther, past 150ft. The bottom two BBs drop after that and the upper one rises, but still, I'm impressed enough with the gun I'm going to purchase a second one (one is none, two is one) just because I like the security of having doubles of the same gun for proficiency and easier to have a spare if one goes down (not talking about lugging two shotguns though).

playing with a shotgun is just so much fun, pistol+shotgun games are a quality treat that everyone should enjoy once in a while

For the s34p for indoor what gram bbs would you reccommend? also my gun is shooting like 6 bbs at once not 3. so should i do a mix of .12's .20's and .25s?

I wouldnt, you can't control which bb's go in the front of the others. (presuming your double feeding) You will end up with a very unpredictable burst.
That could be fun? |

Indoors with this gun, 0.20g are quite fine, unless you have ranges you need decent accuracy (aka shooting a guy's foot that is sticking out at 80ft away). This gun can easily get 80-100ft with 0.20g before they rise, but when they do, they go vertical. Outdoors, minimum 0.25g even if they are way too light. Best I've found has been the 0.28g as i pointed out above, decently tight spread and go for good distance. Weight is what you want for brush penetration (this gun will shoot them too slow, but will penetrate better than if you used 0.20g) and distance.

Indoors it'll rock more than AEGs (to a point, but one point and shoot, then back behind cover means you expose yourself for less time than someone pointing and shooting 6 BBs out of an AEG). Outdoors, ya, you'll have a problem, but still, need minimum 0.25g to make it through brush. I'd use a sub-stock TM gun with 0.25g any day. 0.20g are purely for chrony and very close indoors as far as I'm concerned (and I've used heavy Bbs in low fps guns outdoors and still done well. Surely it CAN'T just be me!?)

Try .28g, you'll have an orgasm when playing outdoors, they are that much better than using .25g!
