FN FAL/C1 series
I am dating myself with this, but my first exposure to serious real steel was the FN C1 (I seem to recall that my issue weapon was stamped 1958!), and it has always epitomized for me what a rifle should look and feel like. Does anyone have knowledge of whether any manufacturer has signalled an intention to produce an airsoft version?
If there is a previous thread on the topic, my apologies in advance. Cheers |

My further apologies: I meant to post this in the guns discussion area, but got distracted (work does that sometimes) and put it with gear.

I don't know of any manufacturers who have produced an FNC1.

UN Company has custom FALs available but they're in excess of $2,000 USD.

You'd have to get a retailer to order it in for you... It would suck to have customs confiscate a $3000 gun. |

There used to be AEG versions of the FN/FAL, but that predates the knowledge of most folks here. Heck, I dont even remember the manufacturer.
They were gorgeous. Had they been still made (affordably), I would have gotten one. If you truly want to date yourself, train with Lee Enfields... |

It was metal, and definitely not a gas powered gun. But I only saw it once in a box and never got to inspect it.
So I may well be wrong. All I'm positive about; was not gas. It was not crappy either. It may have been a springer (a nice one). Sorry, been too long. |
