Star UMP/UMG magazine compatibility
I came across a Star UMP (UMG?) and am in the midst of restoring it. It's a neat thing...we'll see how it turns out in the end. I've worked on plenty of V3's and G36's so no issues with the internals. But I'm not familiar with the specifics of its magazines from manufacturers.
It came with 1 high cap and 1 mid cap...both Star I think. I know that G&G makes a UMP (UMG). Does anyone know if the magazines from G&G compatible with the Star UMP? Are there any other magazine makes that work with the Star UMP? Thank you, Tys |

I was looking at Star UMP mags on WGC the other day, and they said "For Star UMP only". So there might be some compatibility issue somewhere, unless G&G cloned Star (don't believe so).

Be careful too, ARES just released an updated UMP, with new mags too I believe. I don't know if they're compatible with the older STAR UMP, so watch out!
