Farmboy, with the padded patrol belt, how would it be worn?
Cuz you'd have your regular BDU belt, and then this one on top, possibly connected to suspenders?
How do you prevent it from shifting around?

Because the s*** has really hit the fan. Most military/contractor guys setup their gear in what called "lines" so that they can shed lines as the situation requires. Your LBV/Chestrig is generally on a seperate line from your pistol (and the necessities to life such as a compass and map, knife, lighter etc...) because if things change in the field as they always will, like for example, a)you need to get in a super tight crawl space or b)you used up all your ammo or c)your gun takes a shot to the magwell rendering it useless or d)anything crazy happens that makes that line redundant, then you can ditch it and retain a higher level of mobility to compensate for the lack of your primary weapon.

Worn with suspenders or a "yoke" is a great way. I also have guys who replace the belt on the 84 ruck with them. Once tightened up it won't shift around to much.

I have a drop-leg med pouch filled with... Well, medical supplies. Decently comfortable for me. (This isn't a game piece, either.)
