2 camps

MikeL clearly falls in the " don't do it ever" camp

Most others fall in the "i'm playing dressup" so it does not matter camp.

Both are correct.

To those who assault complete strangers because they are wearing "their unit insignia" They belong in jail

Any douche that beats somebody up because of something they're wearing (minus the KKK shirts) has got something fucked up between his/her two ears.

For a true reenactment event, I'm fine with it; just aslong as the badges aren't over done(ie tryin to make yourself look like a huge war hero). And aslong as you don't pop into any stores wearing the uniform, etc either on the way to or from an event.

The person who just throws on the badges an just considers them a piece of cloth an knows nothing about them.. I don't think they should wear it.

Ok, my bad, I'm a noob for miltary patches of the US, only Mountain division I know if is the 10th, I don't give a shit for the technical part of it, I'm just saying I've no reason to remove the patches, I play airsoft, I really don't care if my picture shows up on another forum and my being criticized for it. Those that whine about my not removing all patches from my BDUs need a kick in the balls, pure and simple. If you think I need to remove it, then I'll settle for a spitball hitting your balls, since I like you.

BTW Brian, you forgot to add the "I don't give a flying fuck" option to your list. Is a rather important one, it occupies at least half of the people you are talking about.

I wear full DPM and have insignea on my DPM uniform for displays with the abbot . But I have permission from the Ministry of Defense in the U.K. just for that reason . At shows you always get someone that doesn,t agree with what your wearing . Thats when I pull out the documentation and that usually shuts them up right away!

You... actually own an Abbot?

If so, let me preemptively express how much I hate you. :P

Try wearing even just a set of cadpat or even just cadpat pants around Cold Lake, Alberta...

Personally I airsoft is a game of PRETEND! While playing airsoft I'll wear whatever I damn will want but I will not wear it on the street. (Well except my cadpat pants I seem to wear all the time cause they are comfy).

Mike what incident in Wainwright were you referring to? Are you not aware that there are lots of CF members who have earned the ranger tab? My unit has several...
