full quote, in context. FYI

I made bold the important bits.

EDIT: what's the deal? used to be able to quote inside of quotes.

You could always use the Smith Optics Boogie Regulator - ventilation holes in the lens but still passes the MIL-STD impact tests:

Those look quite promising, Similar to the bolle or exoshield but with vent holes!! $40 is a little much for what u get though.

only problem is i have to wait til march to get them. im going to order a set of bolle cobras for the time being.

not a new design, they have been making that shape and design with the holes for squash for a while now. Oakley has them with holes too...but in glasses not goggle form like this...but their ski/snowboard goggles have had them for decades.

Well, copyrights are for intellectual property. The only thing these companies can "own" are the patents to the processes or coatings. I'm pretty sure there isn't a patent out there for "protective eyewear".

My bad, mind was mush this morning. I did mean patent, and was referring to the build materials, band attachment, and profile, but on taking a closer look the profile is different, as is the band connection. Disregard my last.

Anyone else had a chance to test these bad boys out? They look really good. It seems the Smith's Boogie's may be the answer to fog.
