JG G36C disassembly issue

Hey guys,

I was trying to disassemble my new JG G36C and when I came to the step where you remove the gearbox, I found these two wires instead of a tamiya connector. How would I go about removing these? Just pull? I've tried that but they seem very stuck together. Here is a picture of the two wires:

It looks like you need to unplug the battery and remove the hand guard

I've already done both of those, it seems that JG cheaped out and forgot to put a connector or something! What do you think?

Sorry I couldn't tell from the first photo. I've never seen a g36 wired like that in years and I sold my jg g36 6 years ago. Maybe just follow the wires and see where they go, they are most likely bound by plastic pull ties to the barrel leading to the fuse.

It's hard to tell by the pic but are the two leads soldered together.?

If they are hit it with an iron and pull it apart at the same time.

Yank them apart. Connectors in this area are intended to allow you to separate your outer barrel and hop assembly.

For what it's worth, you should get rid of these connectors and the fuse, and switch to shortened Deans connectors.

Thanks for all the help!

I got past that and now I'm re-assembling my G36C but the barrel assembly does not want to fit into the upper receiver. I feel like pushing it any harder will damage it. It feels like its plastic against plastic and not wires getting caught. Any tips on helping getting the barrel assembly in so the bolts like up?

Maybe sure the hop up unit is not hitting anything?

Check how the hop up unit aligns with the nozzle. If the hop up unit meets up with the mechbox shell and that is what is causing the resistance, that is fine, the hop up unit has a spring to press tightly against the mechbox
