Behold !

RS H&K retractable stock is here !
And after keeping it for 2 weeks not even customs taxes to pay on a 264$ item

Takes a little bit of work to adapt but it mounts... and stock lock is a LOT stronger than the WE one. Also the stock cannot lock folded but who cares ? RS can't fire with this stock folded annyway.

Update, not a C anymore and to my surprise the piston is at the right position and it's a one piece barrel.

Downside : enormous wobble on the barrel. Fixed it by putting epoxy on the bottom of the barrel lock.
Just a few more mods and KV over

Heckler & Koch G36 Retractable stock (bought on RKSPlus)

Troy Battle Sights (not real ones)
Magpul RSA

Madbull Gemtech G5 silencer (QD)

I might have misunderstood you, but isn't that just a G36V? The K should have a 4 hole foregrip. (Nice stock BTW)

It would be V

18.9" barrel and/ or 6 Holes handguard= Standard
12.5" barrel and/ or 4 Holes handguard= Kurz
9" barrel and 2 Holes handguard = Compact

V / E = Export (E is no longer used today)
A2 = Integrated optic with removable Zeiss Red Dot, G36C stock, and LLM01 Laser

Just in case you wanted to make this gun more realistic, and cooler than it already is you can get this http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/in...ducts_id=13049 Fully liscensed G36C metal sticker, and this http://www.intrudershop.com/mmc/aug/...6BULLET-V3.pdf printable bullets that you can just slide into the mag (looks great). Just resize it to 300% and you should be good

Given I'm converting in to a Latvian KV (like on the picture on first page) it will go to imperial engravers.
And for the bullets sticker I really don't like it, I'll stay with my regular resealed mags.

For the Latvian it needs a 14.5 barrel, KV is not a G36E, the E versions or like the standard ones without railed handguards and simple x1.5 optics without rail on top.

The problem is due to repeated assembling and disassembling of the inner barrel. The repeated screwing and unscrewing of setscrew part 125 caused to lose thread at the bottom of part 27. (look at your manuel guys)
So it caused my inner barrel assembly to wobble a lot!

There are 2 solutions for this: get a new part 27, since this will have new threads. But if you really want to be sure, you can even keep your part 27 but just get a longer setscrew to replace the stock setscrew (part 125)

You will have to find a setscrew of the type: M3 - 5mm! (on the picture: the bottom setscrew on is the new one)
The stock setscrew length is 3mm. So 5mm is perfect! Any longer than that and you will have to cut the setscrew to get it fit inside the upper receiver.

Here is explained visually what this mod actually does:
green is the inner barrel itself;
part 27 is the big thing as you can see;
the black block is the part that surrounds the inner barrel;
blue is the set screw that holds the inner barrel assembly in place;
the red shows where the thread has gone, causing the stock setscrew to sit lose!

Its a mystery why WE didnt used a longer setscrew!

Since I didnt know what kind I had to use, I bought a whole kit:
http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=22817
http://www.roundabouttoys.com/store/...rew-Set,-EB-K/

So, there ya go, with just a longer set screw you will have NO inner barrel wobble at all! Even when using a long inner barrel!
Would something like this fit?
Amazon.com: Stainless Steel Set Screw, Hex Socket Drive, Silver Tip, M3-0.5, 5mm Length (Pack of 5): Home Improvement

Just a note, M3 set screws in 5mm are available at Fastenal. If they don't usually they can order for you.

bolt-stop option lever

Here is an interesting part I found for the gun:

YouTube - WE. G39C (G36C) Bolt-Stop Option Lever

To the say the least, I want one. Notice the machined metal charging handle as well. Now, that is how the gun should have been assembled. Other than that, I figure these have to be custom parts - Off to the local CNC shop!

$38 for bolt-stop lever is a little steep --- that's almost in real steel territory. $28 for the charging handle is not bad, but I hope the CNC job is quality to say the least.

Did you ever diagnose the problem behind the nozzle breaking?

I suspect (as others have) that it was likely due to your use of a petroleum based lubricant, which weakened the plastic.

Gun is coming along nicely, I'm hoping to get a C shortly, and then I'll be modifying it to suit my needs.
