where to get hardware

I would like to know if someone know where to get the basic hardware for the airsoft.
I got a used gun and there are a couple of missing screws, nuts, pin...
At first I tried a couple of screw I have at work (I fix industrial printer and insertion machin) but no good fit.
So where do you guys get your hardware? (I assume you don't get them directly deliver from airsoft maker)

Screws, nuts, pins... Have you tried Home Depot or Home Hardware, I don't think many manufacturers use proprietary screws or pins.

Most of the screws I've need found at HomeDepot not in the main section but in the small rotating shelfs they have.

you need a fastener supply store... airsoft uses a lot of metric machine screws and nuts

I have found that most of my guns use m(metric)3 and m4 threads - so i bought a selection of machine screws in those sizes from 10 to 22 mm long and i usually have the one i need. Got mine at home hardware

Problem is most local hardware stores are all imperial
Need to look at industrial suppliers like fastenal or acklands

Go to Home Depot, they carry almost every single type of imperial bolts, nuts, and screws in metric as well.

They're the same size as computer case screws. I've used computer screws in a pinch on many occassions.

Nope, it's been this way since at least 2006 unless you were already a established customer with "significant" sales, except their method of determining significant sales makes no sense to any one but them.

All due to "exporting liability" ... aka McMaster's lawyers woke up one day and decided that a screw is suddenly covered under ITAR. Mind you the rest of McMaster's business practices are not that much better either.

Fastenal can take my money.
