Question Someone who fixes mosfet's?

I have literally a box full of different mosfets (for CTW, PTW and others) all of them smoked. Does anyone fix this kind of stuff?

I would really like to see if I have any options before throwing them away.

If it is in Montreal better... cheers!

Any electronics repair shop could fix them, provided they're not too far gone. (like just needing to replace a FET chip itself). However your money might be better spent throwing it away and buying a new one depending on how much it costs.

Or....look at it yourself and see where the shit stain (damage) is, and replace the chip.

Many stores no longer do component level repair anymore, but if you can find one still does that, they will be able do fix it.
How much are the units to be repaired cost? If they charge you $30 per repair, this may not worth it.

if I've learned anything from watching AvE fix tools, you can just look up the part numbers on the gargler, grab them from digikey or mouser and spend maybe $50 on a bunch of them. assuming you've got a properly good iron and some soldering skills, it wouldn't be the most expensive adventure to at least try and fix something that you were going to throw away for no value.
