E&L AK104 x ASURA

Need to know if this will fit my E&L AK104
Once the top half of the hand guard is removed, gas tube of the AK is also gone
I noticed Airsoft Obsessed Dave has the same gun with same rail
not sure if his involved major modification to fit this rail, or just the light sanding that was mentioned to me in my previous post

Here's the rail I'm leaning towards
http://www.ebairsoft.com/asura-dynam...il-p-8692.html

Would like to know if this will fit without the gas tube area inside it
AO Dave's fit somehow and i would like to know if mine would fit easily before i buy
dont wanna drop the cash for a piece that won't fit
someone help!
Thanks

You know you can take the plastic bit off the gas tube right?

Stay the hell away from Ebairsoft. They always post items as being instock and then give you excuses as (I assume) they try to back order it. I've waited over a month for something to ship from them that was showing as being instock and ended up having to demand a refund because they couldn't say when it would ship, just "soon".

Highly recommend emailing and inquiring as to whether they have "x" item in stock before ordering anything from them.

I've done it with every single order and haven't had any issues. They were also able to source a very rare and difficult to find part for me after asking, although it did take 2 months for them to bring it in, but I wouldn't have been able to get it otherwise. They're not the best retailer out there, but they're also not the worst.

Yeah, take the plastic handguard part off the gas tube. You just rotate the handguard relative to the gas tube 180 degrees. Use a regular wrench to help with gripping it.

It looks like it'll snap or something if i do it..
are you sure just using a wrench and rotating it won't break anything?

It looks like it won't work, but it does. Here's a video, it's real steel but the same process applies.
