I heard that the Lancer is just a rebrand of Emerson. I am trying to confirm if they are indeed the same or is one a better built than the other.
I looked at Crye. Too much $$ for airsoft use. |

 The Task Force Spartan use the JPC. We load them to real standard. No complaints on the shoulder straps. I did notice that they dig a little with "real" SAPI plates. But not to the point where I feel like removing it. If you use foam plates, it won't hurt. We are about 15 guys that use it. We beat the shit out of it. XL fit individuals that are more than 6' tall or obese. The JPC is ajustable in the shoulders and the waistband can be inlarged quite a lot. You just have to undo the bunjee ropes in the back and relace them in different molle position.

Bought my JPC from CTOMS in Edmonton this play season. I was not impressed at all with the build quality. I went back to CTOMS and I was shown all of the vests that they had in stock. about 20 Coyote ones in various sizes and many MC ones. They all had in my opinion poor stitching quality.
That said I have been using the rig for games and RS shooting courses and it's held up excellent. It certainly does not impress in terms of build quality compared to HSGI, Dropzone, LBT that I have owned previously. I do not believe the JPC is backed by a life time guarantee like the LBT, HSGI carriers are either. If I could do it over again, I would try and physically use or inspect a Mayflower APC, BFG LMAC before making the JPC decision. IMO it seems their to be a strong trend towards disposable gear. Wear the carrier / pouch for one maybe two rotations and toss it into the trash.

Crye JPCs do not have lifetime but I'm pretty sure they have a one-year warrentee provided you are the original buyer.
I loved my JPC and I did not feel like there were any points in build quality that were lacking. If I invest in crye again I might get an AVS as many of my friends claim AVS' are JPCs but better if set up correctly |
