Ninja_En_Short: I am particularly interested in learning the Navy SEAL knee-slide as seen in 'Act of Valor'. Do you possess this skillset? If required I can provide my credentials and I have If-I-Tell-You-I-Have-To-Kill-You-Your-Entire-Family-And-Your-Neighbors security clearance.

Is that anything like Celtic rock hopping? 'cause I know of a renowned master of that technique. At the age of 17 he was master of 12 different martial arts!

I decided to make this a "challenge" and do while being as "white" as possible since i'm fluent in Chinese.

It took me <10 seconds to type that into youtube:
Conventional method as per manual of arms:

Chinese QBZ-95 rifle mag change - YouTube

Typing it in Chinese:

Advanced Method:

Ammunition is carried on the strong side bullets up, facing forward.... you know what forget it, here is the video taken from a tv show on Chinese television that has a poor English translation for the title.
Chinese Army Shooting Competition - YouTube

I did cheat a bit. I was aware of the these videos on Chinese language sites years ago.

Can he give me airborne sniper wood training?

Finding more info on buddy isn't all that hard. His name is all over the internet like a rash.

I find it really interesting that people will question a 25yr old on matters of military experience, yet nobody questions a 25yr old formula 1 driver winning 3 world championships.

Ninja_en_short reminds me of that reddit user that goes by lies_about_expertise.

A few choice quotes of this one account:

"I've been a firefighter in Bastrop, Texas for 16 years now, and we usually use a system similar to that for our training exercises. A fire release device makes it easy for us to start a controlled burn of a building. It doesn't always end well though. Last year we had a

"I've worked as a homicide detective for 30 years now, and Russians are always like that when they kill someone. I remember one case I had where a Russian beat a bouncer to death with a vodka bottle because, and I quote, "He had a kind of funny look on his face." For a Russian woman to..."

"Immunologist here, that picture isn't too far off of what the surgeons do for an esophageal expansion. Although instead of a drill we usually use a balloon. Basically we knock the patient out, shove a balloon down their throat, and blow it up. I remember one time we ran low on surgical equipment and..."

"I've studied historic Norwegian architecture for 25 years now. If there's one thing I've learned it's that Norwegians really appreciate the value of family, and it shows in a lot of their sculptures. Compared to some of the Norwegian sculptures I've seen in my years, this one is a little tame. Although by the standards of the rest of the world..."

Hadn't touched a RS rifle as of April 2009. Has big dreams of RS at that time, no doubt influenced by airsoft.

Also lots of indications of involvement in Battlefield mods.

Hmm, perhaps confusing reality, with fantasy?

Why do people lie about shit thats so obviously catch able? I mean listen kiddies lie about believable shit. Don't make up crap no sane person isn't going to look at and go.... "bullshit" about.

Anyways.

Let's get back on topic here, we are discussing gear(and how to wear it) if the ASC hate machine wants to get all up in this than make a new thread.

For cqb I'd recommend lightweight chest panels and don't wear plate carriers. Too little mobility on plate carriers.

I'd recommend the same to new players if only because the panel (read rig) is better suited for outdoor play aswell. But for anyone looking for something less call of duty like.... plate carrier all the way. Not only are plate carriers (in a real military operation) better suited for the trails of urban/CQB combat they also allow you to carry more gear (with proper MOLLE set up). Truth is that without the need for prone and Plate Carrier is a much better option for CQB/Urban, there is a reason real soldiers wear carriers or (in the past more than now, though not all military's have adopted Plate Carriers) a tactical vest.
