Question AGM M14 Good or Bad

Hey everybody,

I'm looking forward to buying another airsoft AEG (preferably an m14) and I just wanted to double check by asking all you airsoft players out there if this is a good gun or not.

But, before I jump onto the specs, I would like all of you to know, I have NEVER, EVER, heard of this brand before and all sites claim that the gun is a heavy TM clone which is pretty convincing, but is it true?

Anyways.... here are all the specs they've listed:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a HEAVY clone of the TM M14 select fire rifle.
This airsoft AEG weighs in at 5.2kg with the box and has the same metal parts as the TM gun.

This Airsoft shoots a SOLID 330fps with .20g BBs and features fully adjustable hop-up.

Comes complete with Large Battery & Charger and Hi-Capacity Magazine.

* Manufacturer: AGM
* METAL GEARBOX
* TM M14 clone
* FPS: 330 with .20g
* Adjustable hop-up system

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The gun is selling for $230. Is it worth it? I'm pretty sure if i wait a bit I can get a TM - which is like 10times better, but at the same time I don't want to spend almost $750 on one if I can get one close to it for only $230.

If any of you players out there used or own one of these things please tell me what you think of it. All comments would be appreciated.

Thanks
-Rick

The CYMA032 M14 is VERY good. I don't know about the AGM M14.

But if I had to choose, I would pick the CYMA version.

Can't remember if the AGM is a 100% TM clone, but whichever one you buy, make sure it's a 100% TM clone.

I sold one to Double Tapper recently, when I had it, there were misfires, and feeding issues. He just opened the mechbox up and found out it's pretty FUBAR'd inside... something about the piston being stuck, or something just spins... I can't remember.

But AGM's are hit or miss. Either you get one that fucks you up and makes you want to smash it through your TV, or you get a TM quality product.

Yes, they are TM compatable according to everything I've read about the AGM M14.

Yeah, I've also heard there's issues with mags from other brands fitting and feeding. You'll have to do some modification to either the mag well or the mags themselves with mags like KA midcaps to get them to work.

I heard TM mags work perfect in the AGM M14.. it's the AGM M14 hicaps that it came with that gave me trouble...

And yes... I did wind them

Don't forget that we are Canadian. And ordering airsoft guns for cheap off of Ebay is not an option.

One of my teamates has a Cyma M14 and it looks great, shoot greats and doesn't break at all. Never really heard good things about AGM so I'd say go with the Cyma.

Go with cyma. Everyone here i know recommends cyma over the AGM. About the same price, but the Cyma version is just built better, and also comes with a tightbore i believe. People are laughed at who still buy AGM.
