Saw the above link on a gadget website I frequent. Wow is all I can say, so, so, so smart. It's not real time, but if you need up to date images of an area within 10 minutes of accuracy... fantastic. Give the link a click or watch the video below.

wow those are awesome, I can't see the heli being stable enough for outdoors though

the air hogs helis would not be good out doors.

But if you want to make a semi cheap one you could get a Eflight heli and mount a wireless spycame to it.

Although if you don't know how to fly helis you will also need to pick up a ton of spare parts lol

We fly our "don't fly outside" Mosquito outside on calm days. Any breeze though has the rotors touching & it augers in.

Still a couple years ago a RC chopper at that price was a pipe dream never mind one with a camera. Probably in another 2 years there will be a stable outdoor one with real time thermal vision!

$299 US (estimated) though only 12-14 mins of flight time (indoors)... Could be an interesting tool though
