Yes, I appear to be asking for a little spoon-feeding...
Yes they're genuine Peltor Comtac II and the mic can be switched on then. Personally my setup was expensinve because I'm running it on a Motorola Saber II and the Comtac II is mil standard. Therefore I had to get the specific PTT from TCI to compensate for the impendance.

I ended up getting a good deal on the Comtac II at 220$ shipped and the PTT costed me after duties and shipping close to 400$, thanks to UPS for raping me on duty fees. Not sure how that would work out with a Motorola FRS though since I never looked into that avenue.

Thanks for the info, dude; maybe I'll wait and see if my buddy can successfully repair my knock-offs, including a Z-Tactical Sordin. I'm not sure it's worth that much to me just to have my mic reversed. On the other hand, reliable comms...

You have just inspired me to copy that SAS kit. By far my favorite! The other ones are good too, but that one is rare.

I watched the docu and I was surprised at the amount of guys in baseball caps. However, facts and opinions are entirely different things, there's no hierarchy about it.

Surely no one would contend that Brits aren't looking more and more similar to their American counterparts in recent years. I had to double take at this pic to make sure!

I know you prefer it that way Sinn, doesn't make you have to work to hide your boner.
