Got a boatload of cash? Any worthwhile external accessories for AK's cost a small fortune, and/or take a fair bit of customization work to make it fit/work properly.

Any of the Guarder conversion kits will run you $600-$1100 bucks. The 2 versions of the GP30 grenade launcher are around $300 each. A real-deal AK scope is pretty cheap (under $200), but the proper side-mounting plate is a pain to install properly.

I have an all-metal/all wood AK47 with completely redone internals and a side-mounted PK-01 collimated sight. Cost me nearly $1500 by the time I was done.

Keep the external stock. Upgrades... internal like anything Marui. External gets expensive real fast; metal bodies, wood kits, even a Dragunov kit.

Honest opinion from owning 2 AK would be to leave it 100% stock (wish I would have known that when I got mine).

Us AK owners are blessed and cursed. Blessed because Guarder shows us mucho love by giving us truly incredible AK conversions, parts, and accessories that look fantastic and are of superb quality, cursed because everything Guarder will make your wallet ache. Badly.

for the love of crap locksie, leave him alone. Let him do what HE WANTS with his own gun.

I believe he asked for grenade launchers and scopes, not a lecture on your philosophy towards weapon upgrades.

Full stock allows you to have the Large battery, and never lack for power. Folding, well, a bit more compact.
Since an AEG with no battery power is a glorified paperweight at a game, I suggest a full stock model or a few spare batteries.

If you wear a full pb mask the folding stock might be easier to aim with pending on type of mask and style.

but like he said ^^^ the full stock holds a bigger battery.

folding

i disagree,

get a folding stock because it is much more convinient to carry around.

just buy a few more extra batteries.

the battery lasts for about 1.5 hours of non stop use. so thats pretty fgood.

the foldable stock is more convinient to keep in small spaces.

I did suggest the alternative of having a full stock with (one) large battery, or extra (regular) batteries.
That meant; folding stock = get extra batteries. Get an excellent battery charger too, if you have not already done that.

Since you already have the gun, why do you ask about the stock? Do you want to change that? If yes, it can be done, but it takes work.

larger batteries tend to do better. Higher voltages, longer life.
Rember, a 9.6v 1700mah batter doesnt shoot as fast as a 9.6 3300mah battery.
I always suggest large batteries. Changing batteries can be a pain, but with my large 3000mah battery, it lasts 2-3 full game days. And the added weight is a nice feature.

Honestly, as with any rifle, your gonna want it to be more solid and tuff....so a metal body is always welcome. Same with internals, nice to have a gun that shoots 2x as fast and 2x as far....no one likes a stock gun that shoots 100ft.

as for folding stocks, they are handy, but sometimes weak, and its rare you would actually use it folded because the stock swings beside your hand and can limit movment/mag change speed.
